Thank you for using Habit Architect! We build this tool to help you master your daily consistency and architect a better life. Because we value transparency and trust, we have put in place these Terms of Service to clarify our relationship with you.

When we say "Habit Architect", "we", "our", or "us", we are referring to the creators of this application. When we say "Services", we mean the Habit Architect website at habitarchitect.app and all its features.

When you use our Services, you are agreeing to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Account Terms

  1. Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Habit Architect cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  2. Content: You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account (even when content is posted by others who have access to your account).
  3. Humans only: Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
  4. Conduct: You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

2. Cancellation and Termination

  1. Account Deletion: You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You can delete your account at any time within the Settings section.
  2. Data Deletion: All of your content will be inaccessible from the Service immediately upon account deletion. We will permanently delete your data from our active systems and backups within 60 days.
  3. Termination: We have the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason at any time if we believe you have violated these terms.

3. Security and Privacy

  1. Trust: When you use our Services, you entrust us with your data. We take that trust to heart. We only process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  2. Encryption: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transmission and at rest.
  3. Access: We only access your personal data when it is absolutely necessary to provide support, fix critical errors, or comply with legal obligations.

4. Copyright and Ownership

  1. Your Data: We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours.
  2. Our Design: The look and feel of the Service is copyright © Habit Architect. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission.

5. Liability

You expressly understand and agree that Habit Architect shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the use or the inability to use the service.

In short: choosing to use Habit Architect means you are making a bet on us. We do our absolute best to be a safe bet by focusing on security, privacy, and building a tool that truly helps you grow.
